My passion for industrial design is in bringing elegance and supreme functionality to life and manifests in a few non-traditional approaches.
The GP7000 engine is one I'm proud to have worked on - powering the Airbus A380. Below, I'm pictured during disassembly/assembly validations, 2007-2008 (leading documentation effort for Cincinnati-based publications team). The final picture in the series above is that very engine starting and running in test. 'Guess we got it back together correctly!
Spending several weeks in Wales included the experience of Cardiff, Wales rugby zeal. The Wales national team played Australia, a friendly scrum broke out against traffic in the streets and I met some most excellent, hospitable people.
Considered a designer, my love of design appeared during my career in a variety of ways. Cabinetry, space planning, furniture design, heavy system design, ATMs, architectural truss layouts, architectural plans, commercial space survey and mapping.
